Daily Schedule

"The child is endowed with unknown powers, which can guide us to a radiant future. If what we really want is a new world, then education must take as its aim the development of these hidden possibilities."

-Maria Montessori

Morning Routine

9:30-10am Morning Connection

This is where our strong learning community is built. Through daily morning meetings, team-building activities,  grace and courtesy lessons, and values driven personal development, your child will develop a growth mindset and develop strong relationships with their peers.

10-12pm Core Learning

During core learning, we work alongside students to create individualized learning plans using rigorous, mastery based programs. Students set personal goals and move forward each day. Students are given choices, within boundaries, of how they wish to learn their curriculum. They have access to exceptional online programs, Montessori works, workbooks, direct instruction, and more.

Afternoon Schedule

12-1pm Lunch and Free Play

A group of students will plan and prepare healthy lunches and snacks for the class. Students are also welcome to bring lunches from home.  After lunch, students get to enjoy free, unstructured play.

1-1:20pm D.E.A.R.

Drop everything and read time. After recess, we like to help students get their minds and bodies focused again through independent reading. This is an enjoyable 20 minute block where kids can quietly read whatever interests them.

1:20-2:15 Collaborate Mode

Collaborate engages students in inquiry-based research, project based learning, debates, Socratic discussions, etc. to explore subjects like Science, History, Art, STEAM, and Geography.

2:15-2:30 Reflection/Community Helpers

Students have time to reflect on the day and share their successes. This is a time to celebrate each other! Students end the day cleaning up their spaces and preparing the classroom for another incredible day of learning.
